5-12 Spring Music Concert
This past weekend three students from Ray High School competed at the State B Music Festival in Bismarck. They all have put in months of hard work to compete at the state level and we are proud of their accomplishments!

Ryleigh Rettig (Sr.) and John Oak (Sr.) both received a 1 rating. A one is considered an excellent rating.

Marshall Feiring (Fr.) received a star. A star is considered a superior rating.

Congratulations to these successful Ray Jays!

🎶 Region 9 Instrumental Results 🎶

We are so proud of our students for their performances at Region 9 Instrumental Contest!

For those unfamiliar with the rating system:
⭐ Star = Superior performance
I = Excellent performance
II = Good performance
III = Fair performance

Students who received a ⭐ Star rating will be advancing on to State—an outstanding accomplishment! (The exception to this is large group performances, which are capped at the regional level.)

As a program, our Full Band earned ratings of I, I, ⭐, which is an incredible achievement and reflects the hard work, dedication, and growth of our students.

Congratulations to all performers! Your effort and commitment continue to make our program and community proud. 🎺🎵

🎶 Ray Jays Vocal Results 🎶

We’re proud to share the results from the Ray Jays vocal contest! Our students did an outstanding job representing our program.

For scoring:
⭐ Star – Superior rating and advances on to State Music
1 – Excellent performance
2 – Good performance
3 – Fair performance

We’re excited to announce that all of our students received a “1” rating, meaning every performance was rated Excellent by the judges! 👏

Even more exciting, two of our performers received a ⭐ Star rating, earning a Superior performance and the opportunity to compete at State Music this May.

Congratulations to all of our singers for their hard work, preparation, and the way they represented the Ray Jays program. We’re proud of you! 🎤
